it doesn't seem fair that the government is happy to spend billions, if not trillions, on keeping banks afloat.
but it just sat back and let woolworths die.

I hardly ever used it, cept for the odd bits and bobs - it seemed like they failed to diversify, or to focus on any one particular area. Banks seem to do the same, trying to provide everything to everyone!

The Woollies on the Moor at Sheffield had a slight slope down the first aisle. Many an old biddy hit the deck face first. At least it had character.
The milky coffee in the cafe was legendary though.-
