what do you think about the idea of making us all work till we're 90 before we get a pension?

well, all right, 66 - both labour and conservative want to do it because it will save about £13 billion a year, they reckon.

i think it's a brilliant idea and i look forward to rushing for the bus on my zimmer frame, to be welcomed vaguely by a partially blind 85 year old incontinent bus driver who jumps the lights, speeds up at zebra crossings and stops when the fuel runs out.
and imagine the joy of being pushed up the ramp to your position on the assembly line where you have to keep your shaking hand under control as you push those contraceptive tablets into their blister packs (well someone does it, otherwise how can the tablets be pushed out again?).
the canteen would be a marvellous experience, as the nurses spoonfeed us with our ration of vitamin enriched porridge as we perch on our corporate colour commodes.
then, friday night!
that's when the problems really start.
that's when we realise we don't really know what to spend our hard earned money on.
apart from werthers originals, i suppose.

if i am supposed to work that long, i don't think i'll ever retire.

i'll just resign.

now!
