i've always had an attitude to people who sell things.
i don't know why that is.
must be some inner insecurity of my own.
but reading motivational bilge such as ..
'"Each failure to sell will increase your chances for success at your next attempt..."
just makes me want to reach for a shotgun and a sickbag in equal measure.
i suppose companies depend on effective sales and marketing, but i wonder if the most successful ones
are those that don't do the hard sell.
i for one would NEVER buy from anyone who was being so obviously slick and performing from a sales song book.
anyone else feel the same way, or am i being unfair?
