i took an old banger in and tried to exchange it for a ferrari under the government's scrappage scheme.
the sales rep was very nice about it but he said a pork chipolata was not a qualifying vehicle under the scheme.
bureaucratic nonsense!

I tried the same trick. Didn't work. They said the old rattler had to be 10 years old.
But it looks 10 years old, I told them.
They wouldn't badge. Looks can be deceiving. I traded the rattler in. I will miss him.
