i have a black box full of life's souvenirs.
bits and pieces from school, previous jobs, hobbies i no longer pursue, that sort of thing.
checking through the other day, i came across my old glass engraving kit.
i got quite good at glass engraving.
i'd buy a set of lead crystal wine glasses wholesale - has to be lead crystal because it's softer and gives a better result, you see.
i specialised in doing flowers, and i could turn out a set of six posh glasses i paid £6 for, and sell them for about £50.
mind you, it took me most of the week to do it.
now i'm wondering why i gave up.
it was a skill and i enjoyed using it.
do you have skills you no longer use?
rubychoo
Have you still got any ?
Why do you consider it a skill and not a talent ?
