is it right that everything is played out in the media?
politics is all about spin and presentation.
whoever ronnie biggs' friends are have released pix of him on his hospital bed, no doubt as part of a campaign to get him released. perhaps he is paying them, who knows?
if anyone feels aggrieved about anything, they can hire max clifford who will find a journalist to cover the story.
everything is a shock, a scandal, and something must be done about it, or at least written or broadcast about it.
i sometimes think life would be better if everyone just shut up and got on with it.
perhaps i should write a letter to the editor about it.
or maybe put it on my blog?!

Once I learned a huge amount from non-fiction books, but suddenly got weary of all that knowledge while the world seemed to go from bad to worse, and we were making advances in all directions so keeping up was getting much harder...happy to escape into my fantasy and sci-fi fiction now...
you obviously feel strongly about this.
i can get you a hefty sum in compensation if you let me run a newspaper campaign.
