i waved to doris as she was pushed into the royal reliant robin for her state visit to the jammie dodger production facility in mesopatamia (well that's what i told her and she did seem keen).
i have to say i was waving quite a long time.
it took three men and a team of bullocks to generate sufficient force to squeeze her into the back seat - and then they had to load her luggage. i don't think she could see anything by the time they kicked in the last hat box, but she's on her way now.
i've reminded the ferry skipper to remove a bit of ballast from the bilge keel. he certainly won't need any more weight.
and now, i have dried my eyes (i was laughing so much), and i have a period of selfish peace to look forward to.
apart from running the island, i will have plenty of time to myself.
but what shall i do with it?

I think you should spend your time buying up every available jammy dodger for when supply dries up after Doris' visit. Then sell then on ebay and make a fortune like the last pic n' mix bag.
