little things mean a lot, or so doris tells me.
but they do, though, don't they?
like this window box that was adding a splurge of spring colour to brockenhurst railway station in the new forest.
apparently, the deeds of the town state that the main intercity trains have to stop at brockenhurst - tiny but wealthy village - for ever more (no, what i mean is, they will always have to stop there) because that was the deal between the town and the railway company back in the 19th century.
full marks to them for that, and top marks for a great display of flowers.
the display was so good, i suppose the train drivers would want to stop there anyway.
