gorse needles

i took this picture during a long walk last week.
it was a perfect day.  quite still, and though the sun was warm, it was offset perfectly by just the
right amount of chill in the air.
this shows the famous needles jutting out to sea, pointing towards the coast of dorset in the distance.
on the lower left, you can make out the two anvil shaped structures that carry cable chairs down the cliff
to the beach at alum bay.
