not a particularly great picture, and a complete cheat because there isn't any snow - but it was frosty...
anyway, apart from that, i was pleased to catch this fella on a long lens.
he was hopping around busily on the lightly frosted ground, trying to intimidate me into giving him some grub (which i did, of course - and i can confirm that robins do like 'go ahead' bars).
they are always somehow always associated with christmas - perhaps it is because robins are such busy, greedy birds?!
