having looked at some lovely landscapes, i thought it would be nice to zoom in this time, and
see the snow's effect on a small scale - giving a new lease of life to a dead flower head.
looks almost good enough to eat.

oh, this was taken a while ago - last year, i think, while on a skiing holiday in france. the snow just dumped down one day, so much that we couldn't ski, so we went for a great walk instead.
