i'm not a great people watcher in the sense that i listen to what they're saying, but i do enjoy observing the way people walk and move, and fidget ... and one day, i really must record a collection of different people laughing!

anyway, one of my sneaky hobbies while drinking coffee on city holidays is to fit the telephoto lens and see if i can catch some interesting faces.

here's one...for example

anyway, i loved watching him.  that cigar never left his lips yet i swear he still managed to drink a cup of coffee.
he was at a table quite a long way away and he was clearly getting fed up and fidgetty.
then the answer was revealed, when his wife (i assume) turned up with an armful of shopping.

that's one of the great things about travel - you find that people all over the world are just the same.
