is going out for a good lunch better than going out for dinner?
in that case, i'll remember to invite you for dinner!

Sometimes...
Depends what you're going out for...I guess if it's to celebrate an anniversary or something like that, then dinner is better, but a long, relaxed lunch is great for most other reasons...

yes, a lunch somehow seems more of a treat. xx
Yes, we look at it that way when we go down to the beach and come back and have a lovely lunch in the French cafe in Bournemouth...

mmmm - sounds very tempting. one day, i am going to get over there and meet you!! xx
Yes, indeed...HLOL...still waiting...GBHs...XXX
Given the choice then dinner
ok, dinner it is!
Depends on what part of the country you come from...some people call dinner lunch!
I'd ask what time they wanted to meet first
where i come from, dinner was always tea!
Me too....and lunch was called dinner!
Hmm... I'm having trouble choosing. Lunch is good because you can sit around and chat way in to the evening afterwards. Dinner is good because you can have a dessert and not feel guilty about it... for some reason dessert at lunch time comes with guilt!
that's true about dessert. though i don't mind indulging any time of the day!
Well...my point of view is that lunch is usually cheaper than dinner...but dinner is usually something posher than lunch. Six in one, half a dozen the other. Not very helpful, was I? ![]()
i quite like breakfast too!!
Depends what's on offer afterwards!!!! x
you like dessert then!? xx
That's a very individual question.
Is your question generalised, as in; is it healthier; does it suit your metabolism; what day of the week would you choose to do it?
Scratches head.
i find lunch in a restaurant more decadent, and enjoyable, somehow.
If it's Sunday then lunch is best. Any other day of the week, I'd rather go out for dinner, unless it's a works do in which case it's definitely a long relaxed lunch.
So, to conclude: Lunch wins 2-1.
yes, i'd agree with that scoreline. thanks.
hmmm. lunch is good, but then you have to find something suitably snack like for tea.
Dinner though, means no washing up to do and on to a pub. I think dinner is bestest. ![]()
