do you leave a light on when you go to bed?
i don't.
because if i do, i can see doris's false teeth in the glass by the bed, and her hairnet sparkles in the light.
in addition to which, it seems to attract a crowd of moths who gather at the window.
possibly interested in the prospect of shelter in doris's wide open gob - a safe haven on a cold autumn night.
i never was afraid of the dark.

Yes it helps Mr S to be able to see as he drills holes in the connecting wall to the house next door.

i need it dark to sleep, my lover likes some light, that does cause a few problems
