i don't wish to sound old fashioned, but do they teach manners at night classes?

it's just that i'm convinced that the vast majority of teenagers are better behaved than the vast majority of adults.

maybe it's because they don't get wound up about anything (apart from spots and celebrities) whereas adults these days get wound up about ...
pause for breath ...

traffic
public transport
prices
teenagers
customer service
speed cameras
speed bumps
anyone moving slower than them
noise
crowds
politics

etc (yes they even get wound up about people putting etc at the end of sentences).

anyway ... i'm sufficiently wound up about this to order my education minister (flossie) to introduce manners lessons for adults as from next month.
there'll probably be a fight in the enrolment queue.
