glamour.
what is it?
is it simply a matter of beauty?
probably not, otherwise one of my landscape pictures could get away with being called glamourous.

is it attractiveness?
no, more than that, too. there are attractive people, but glamour would be going too far.

does glamour just come with fame, and movie premieres, and can only women be glamorous?

i only ask because i think this picture of movie legend myrna loy says glamour, for me at least.
i can't explain why, though.
it just does.

maybe glamour is just about presence ...

hmmm.

i obviously need to study this more closely.
it's going to be tough, but someone has to do it.

  a good definition.
  i'd expand it along the lines of - sensual beauty with sequins.

I think charm, good looks, excitement and attraction sums up glamour. I would say that picture fits the bill nicely.

She was a good actress too. Have you seen "The Best Years of Our Lives"? It's a total classic.

Maybe it is about presence She's definitely glamorous. I cant understand why porn stars started being called glamour models, they're as far from glamorous as it gets xx

  that's true, sweety. glamour is beyond most current stars, let alone porn models ... hard to think of anyone that fits the bill, though i'll try!

Wish you would do such examination with all my "vintage goddesses". It adds a new level to the pictures.

You made me thinking about glamour for a while now, but my first try to comment got lost so I wrote this substitution for it.
