my final pin-up of the current series is this lovely moorhen - i call her maureen, by the way.
she was obviously vying for my attention as i crouched down on the bank of the stream and must have been impressed by my camera, i think.
anyway, here she is in all her glory.
like the gorgeous gull, it helps to prove that you don't have to travel far to see lovely wildlife.
