I know it might seem sad, but those old vehicles are incredibly bad for pollution. Something serious needs to happen about the pollution caused by transporting people and food huge distances or our grandchildren are going to have a far more unpleasant world to live in than we did.
But it's the Clarkson's of this world I'm having a go at really. He is such a hypocrite and he can't even see it himself.

Got to say that the biggest problem with leccy cars, is, well, they look awful. Get a petrolhead in bed with a leccy will require the look of an Alfa, the slipperyness of a Nissan GTR and the grip/fun factor of the Lotus Exige (not the fastest, but built for corners!).
Instead, you could paint it red and yellow and get the kids to play in it.
And I'm against the personal use infernal combustion engine!-
