chance'd be a fine thing.
there's a big buzzy fly in the house and i know it's going to find it's way upstairs, waiting to go zzzzzzzz while i'm trying to go zzzzzzzz.
hope you have better luck.

my mum used to tell my dad off for sleeping with his gob open - 'catching flies' she called it.
i needed him last night.
Get your own back - snore loudly all night! ![]()
nice idea - though i decided to sit up all night with a sub machine gun!
They are always like kamakazi pilots and come in for the kill right over your head!

they do it on purpose.
it's all planned, you know.
they were created by the devil to do our heads in!

Damned annoying aren't they, and damn difficult to catch...I usually talk to them and tell them if they want to stay alive they better leave by the open window...quite often they do...HLOL...GBHs...
i do like the idea of talking to them persuasively - reminds me of basil fawlty's icy calm before he started hitting his car with a tree!

Brilliant scene that...HLOL...GBHs....XX
Oddly enough, I did get woken by a fly last night--buzzing in its death throes. Danged nusience they are, too. Tell Doris to keep her slippers handy.
yes! why didn't i think of that?
"doris! get your size tens out tonight dear!"
quick...get out the raid!! xx
knowing me, i'd poison meself and the fly would start reading my bedtime books!
