i don't know why we expect to be immune from stress.
today, for example, two skylarks were having squabble over territory;  a couple of dogs were pulling faces at each other and pretending to strain at the leash and be fierce;  a platoon of crows was invading seagull territory and the scene was set for world war three ...

and it all happens when our space is invaded.

but here on the isle of kevin, everyone has their own space - one villa, one field, and a free set of noise reduction headphones.
and when my faithful islanders go shopping, they always carry a stress stick which they wave around to create a constant arc - thus providing a permanent comfort zone.
a few people have been badly hurt but they were visitors, so that's ok.

it's the equivalent of going to our room for a bit of peace and quiet - usually threatened as a punishment by parents, but actually quite a nice experience.

i am taking orders for isle of kevin stress sticks, but please don't get cross if there's a delay in delivery, will you?
