fantasy friends

i was wondering if there was an A list of bloggers - the people you'd want to be your friends ...
the ones you'd want to be seen with (apart from all current friends, of course).

then i wondered if you'd be interested in coming up with your fantasy five blog friends list.
the only rule is that they must be alive and not currently your blog friend.

here's mine, not in any particular order - though i will probably change it...well, they might get a bit predictable.

2. stephen fry
3. joanna lumley
4. boris johnson

I'd want gossip, humour, fun, indiscreet story-telling.

1) Alan Rickman (so I can chat him up)
2) Tony Blair (so I can abuse him regularly)
3, 4, 5) The most suitable editors for war novels in each of the three main publishers in this country, so that they can get to know my style of writing and agree to read my book. Again.

    It depends on what I have to say to them. Alan Rickman forces me to drool all over the TV set. Or cinema screen. Quite an inspiration.

1) Winston Churchill. Because I'd like to tell him about modern 21-year-old boys, free to mope about life and their mobile phones only because a few 18-year-olds died for our freedom sixty years ago.

2) A friend who dies three years ago; I'd like to tell her about her children and how well they are growing up.

3) Beethoven. My ideal man. My ideal music.

4) Hitler. I would tease him about his failure, relentlessly and unforgivingly pouring scorn over his crimes. And laugh at his pathetic replies.

5) God. He must be dead, if Zimbabwe and other countries can suffer like this.

Mmmmm....interesting! Who would I have?
1. Stephen Fry (so, we'd have to share him)
2. Rich Hall (comedian with very dry sense of humour)
3. Bill Connolly (he's not just funny, but has an amazing view of life that I love)
Think that will be it for now, they'd not only make me laugh but also keep me intellectually stimulated.
