they did a turn for me at the isle of kevin festival on friday night, and a jolly good show they put on, too.
i promised them a mention on my regal blog - well, they aren't very well known yet, and they were so grateful for the opportunity to play on my lawn...
in this shot, i think the lead singer - my mate ricky wilson - was asking if anyone knew the way to the toilet.

Pro I'm not too keen on The Kaiser Chiefs. I have their 1st album but it never gets played any more. All the songs sound samey and I don't honestly think the singer is particularly good.

Pro When did you see The Pistols live? I wasn't too much into punk at the time, being more of a metal boy, and I never fancied the reformations of the 90s.
The only punky band I did see at the time were Souxsie and The Banshees, and they were brilliant. I saw Ian Dury way back when and he was seriously awesome.

Pro Yes, I remember liking several songs by Starsailor, but I can't name any of them. I must look them up again - I think I even have a CD by them.
