people say the strangest things.

TOOT SWEET - that appears to mean see you soon and clever people say it outside theatres, i believe, just after going
MWAH and pressing their cheeks together (face cheeks, i mean).

then there is...

TA RA - another way of saying goodbye when you don't really mind whether or not you see that person again.

i'm going to try this out on one of my next state visits to see Her Vastness and Phil at the Palace.
they always come out in their dressing gowns and slippers to wave me off after bingo night.

i'm going to get kev the chauffeur to turn the radio on to get a suitable rhythm going, then start up a chant...

toot - sweet - mwah - ta ra
toot - sweet - mwah - ta ra

....all together now... etc etc

i bet you any money Her Gloriousness will soon be jigging about like a breakdancer, and Phil will be spinning on his head
(as per bloody usual - drink always goes to his head).

with any luck, i'll turn it into a best selling record.
and i predict that Her Massiveness will pinch the idea and use it at the end of her speeches and state openings of things.
